I am writing to book a visa appointment to attend the AGRISHOW in Ribeirão Preto - SP – Brazil on April 29th to May 3rd, 2024. I am an employee of the Benevolent Community Education and Rural Development Society (BERDSCO), an NGO on special consultative status with ECOSOC of the United Nations in operation since 1990.
My trip is expected to establish a partnership network with major agricultural technology firms and learn how challenges such as rain, droughts, pests, and crop diseases are mitigated. Also, I will bring back invaluable information related to tilling, planting, seeding, and harvesting that would add value to our sustainability and environmental protection goals. Brazil’s excellence in agriculture is an opportunity for the over 20,000 small scale rural producers, as well as businesses in our network looking to import agricultural products and machinery.
